You and Me 03:43
We wrote our vows on the bathroom wall in the Denny's next to City Hall Now raise a drink I think this could end well You said "Let's go," and I said "Where?" You said "I don't know and I don't care, but when we're there I think that we can tell." And we sing: I think this just might be an opportunity the likes of which we thought we'd never see So raise a cup of tea Baby, here's to you and me And rock and roll And making love for free Sing it We wrote our vows (I think) on the bathroom wall (we could be so lovely) in the Denny's next to (I think) City Hall (everything could be so) Now raise a drink (lovely, we're so) I think this could end well (Lovely, lovely) You said "Let's go," (I think) and I said "Where?" (this could be what love is) You said "I don't know (maybe) and I don't care, but (this could be what love is) when we're there (maybe) I think that we can tell." (We're so lovely) And we sing: I think this just might be an opportunity the likes of which we thought we'd never see So raise a cup of tea Baby, here's to you and me And rock and roll And making love for free Hey there, I saw you cross the room I thought I'd say hello Hello If you're here to steal my heart I think you look the part. Sorry, that's the best I've got But we could live like thieves or closely planted trees won't you be a tree with me Or maybe if you're free we could grab a cup of tea Or, whatever As long as you never Oh, please don't ever Leave I think this just might be an opportunity the likes of which we thought we'd never see So raise a cup of tea Baby, here's to you and me And rock and roll And making love for free I think this just might be an opportunity the likes of which we thought we'd never see So raise a cup of tea Baby, here's to you and me And rock and roll And making love for free

Metropolis 03:51
Superman died tonight. He choked himself on kryptonite. The police were sent they said "We've found Clark Kent and we can only be sure this was no accident." And later that night in the police chief's bed they found a gun in his hand a hole in his head and a note on the wall that read "Superman is dead." When Moses parted the sea and he set his people free did the gods of Egypt say "Well, I'll be. I thought the one true god was me." There's a voicemail for Lois Lane. She's out on a date with Bruce Wayne. Now the voice is soft and the voice is grave and it says "There's a man Superman couldn't save so I'll save myself instead. Superman is dead." The day that Jesus died slapped on a cross and crucified did God feel a sense of fatherly pride or do you think he cried Superman died tonight but don't be scared we'll be alright 'cause with superman gone it won't be long till there's somebody new to be dependent on and not a tear we'll shed that Superman is dead. Superman is dead. Superman is dead. Superman is dead.

Lily 05:26
Always thought I'd grow up to be a lonely, bitter man My best friend would probably be myself 'Cause I wouldn't get loved by no one else I won't get loved unless I loved myself I met a girl We took a ride (We took a ride) Not sure what happened after that But she was cool And she was fine (And she was fine) And I was laughing after that 'Cause I don't care anymore Got something more than love itself I'm not scared anymore 'Cause now I've got somebody else You know what I mean? You know what I mean? I'll call you Lily, 'cause I am so in love that Lily is the only word I can say I'll call you Lily, 'cause I am so in love and Lily just so happens to be your name Lily just so happens to be your We took a ride into the night (Into the night) Not knowing where it was to end And it was clear And it was bright (And it was bright) Lily, won't you be my friend? 'Cause I don't care anymore Got something more than love itself I'm not scared anymore 'Cause now I've got somebody else I don't wanna be You know what I mean? I don't wanna be I don't wanna be I don't wanna be I don't wanna be lonely anymore I'll call you Lily, 'cause I am so in love that Lily is the only word I can say I'll call you Lily, 'cause I am so in love and Lily just so happens to be your name Lily just so happens to be your I'll call you Lily, 'cause (I don't care anymore) I am so in love that Lily is the only word I can say I'll call you Lily, 'cause (I'm not scared anymore) I am so in love and Lily just so happens to be your name Lily just so happens to be your Always thought I'd grow up to be a lonely bitter man

Christopher Sits beneath a tree He's looking for an answer He sees the tree He sees the people running oh so quickly by Christopher Sees a blade of grass He picks it up to see what it is for But it just does and falls back to the ground right where it was before Christopher Looks around confused Where's everybody going? Christopher Sees a girl She doesn't walk, she runs, she's late, she's headed off Why does she hurry so? Why can't she stand around and stay with Christopher and feel the breeze and watch the trees and look into the sky? Christopher Looks around confused Where's everybody going? We're all lost and in a hurry Christopher, where are we going? Why the rush? Can't we stop and see the view, just like you? Christopher Christopher Sees a bird who eats a worm The worm did nothing to the bird Christopher feels very sorry for the worm Christopher What's the question? What's the answer? People run too fast to hear Christopher Looks around confused Where's everybody going? We're all lost and in a hurry Christopher, where are we going? Why the rush? Can't we stop and see the view, just like you? Christopher Christopher Why can't the world be made of people just like you Who see the warm and fuzzy happy side of life? Why isn't anybody looking anymore? Christopher We're all lost and in a hurry Christopher, where are we going? Why the rush? Can't we stop and see the view, just like you? Christopher
